Welcome to “Wings Over Water Gardens” 2024 – an aquatic odyssey brought to you by The Water Garden Society of Greater Kansas City! Dive into the enchanting world of water gardens as we proudly present our 31st annual self-directed water garden tour spanning four sensational Saturdays in July and August 2024. Join us on a journey through Kansas City and its surrounding communities, where each tour Saturday unfolds a tapestry of up to 12 mesmerizing water gardens nestled in a compact geographic haven.

Tour Highlights:

• Residential Gardens, from Modest to Majestic
• Society-Built Ponds and Nature Centers
• Elaborate Water Features – Streams, Waterfalls, and More
• Gardens with Trains and Rain Gardens

Tour Dates & Locations: Mark your calendars for the water spectacle of the summer! The “Wings Over Water Gardens” tour awaits you on four magical Saturdays in July and August 2024. Experience the allure of our carefully curated gardens from 9 am to 5 pm, followed by a free night-time celebration at a designated site, generously sponsored by a local landscape contractor.

• Tour #1 – KS North – July 13th – Leavenworth, Wyandotte, and Johnson Counties, Kansas, including Kansas City, Kansas and the communities of Westwood, Prairie Village, Mission, Mission Hills, Merriam, Fairway, Shawnee, Lansing, and surrounding areas.
• Tour #2 – MO South – July 20th – Missouri south of the Missouri River, including Kansas City, Missouri and the communities of Raytown, Independence, Sugar Creek, Blue Springs, Lee’s Summit, Grandview, Peculiar, Raymore, Belton, and surrounding areas.
• Tour #3 – KS South – August 3rd – Johnson, Miami, Franklin, and Douglas Counties, Kansas including the communities of Lenexa, Leawood, Overland Park, Olathe, Louisburg and surrounding areas.
• Tour #4 – MO North – August 10th – Missouri north of the Missouri River, including the communities of Kearney, Smithville, North Kansas City, Weatherby Lake, Parkville, Riverside, and surrounding areas.

Ticket Information:

• $10 per person (14 years and older)
• Children under 14 – Free Admission
