There are three core activities the Water Garden Society of Greater Kansas employs in its mission, and they’re Meetings, Projects, and Tours. All of which are open both to members and the general public. So no matter which category you currently fall into, you can visit us and learn more about how we fulfill our mission. First and foremost we hold monthly meetings at Our Lady of Sorrows church. These meetings provide us with an opportunity to discuss current issues with water parks or features and potential projects to undertake. They’re great informational platforms as well. We make an effort to feature dedicated speakers at these meetings with extensive experience on the topics discussed, so we can all learn something from these gatherings. Our projects include coordination and execution of reparation work, installation, and relocation of the water features in our area. To do this we rely on our members, volunteers, and partners. There are countless companies and individuals in Kansas City who take on water projects. At the Society, we act as a central hub to connect and coordinate them. Celebrating and enjoying our water parks is also a significant part of our mission.
